8. Plan and save for a mini-vacation for Jason and I before Titus/Emilia arrives
I don't know if this exactly counts as "save for", but I am planning a little weekend excursion for Jason and I. We talked about it and decided that instead of purchasing each other Christmas presents that we don't really need, we are going to use that money to at least get away for one night. I started looking into renting a cabin in Pere Marquette. Then Jaime suggested a couple other things, so not I'm investigating them as well. Any way you look at it, Jason and I WILL BE taking a little trip before EMILIA gets here. (O:
30. Eat ice cream for breakfast on 3 separate occasions (1/3)
Oh yes, I did it and it was wonderful. I'm off work today because Jason's treadmill is getting delivered between 12-4:30 (Still not here if you wanted to know...). So, I slept in a little, starting working on baby girl laundry and then went to the bank. Lucky for me, Dairy Queen was open on my way home, so I pulled in and ordered a Peanut Buster Parfait (MY FAV!) Much to my dismay, they were out of peanuts! COME ON, how do you Run Out of PEANUTS?? Anyway, I didn't go psycho pregnant lady on the guy, I just ordered a Cookie Dough Blizzard (A close second fav) and it was very delicious. (O:
66. Pay for the person behind me at the Drive-Thru 3 times (1/3)
This one makes me laugh...it was for my mom! (O: We went to Babies R Us to look at gliders last night before CU. Usually we eat dinner together and then walk around for a few minutes until I have to leave for class. But, we did it backwards this week. To make sure we'd have time to look at gliders, we started at Babies R Us and didn't actually have time to sit and eat. But, we both went through the drive through at Taco Bell. I knew all my mom would order was a 7-Layer Burrito, but I still thought it would be fun to pay for her. The little cashier girl looked at me like I was nuts, but asked her manager what to do. Fun fun. (O:

Done and Done!
20. Get Emilia/Titus' room ready: This is a work in progress, but now that Jason has moved the dresser back in there (after painting), I have organized all my gender neutral clothes in the drawers and have started organizing some things in the top of the closet. I can't wait to REALLY get this underway once we get the baby bed and changing table. AND! After this THURSDAY I can go down to my basement and bring up the appropriate tub of baby clothes (the boy tub is smaller than the girl tub, but either way it will be very exciting!) Here are some pics of Jason's wonderful paint job! (They start as you would be looking into the room from the door and work their way around to the back of the door) (O:

37. Take one "Us" picture each month (2/34)
49. Purchase and use a reusable water bottle: This actually just happened upon me at Katie Henschel's baby shower- I won it during Baby Bingo. (O:
64. Find the perfect flats in black and brown (1/2): Last weekend I was getting groceries at WalMart and decided to just "see" if they had any cute shoes and I found a really cute pair of brown flats for only $16! It was such an exciting day (O:
73. Get a raise: Yatzee! This is funny- I always check my online banking the morning our paychecks go in and no one had told me I'd be getting a raise, so I thought something had gone wrong at work. I had planned to ask someone what went wrong, because they paid me too much. Patty (my manager) did reviews for the employees that morning and told me that I did in fact get a raise, which was awesome! I really like working here and getting a raise makes it even better. (O:

We've been busy!
18. Empty clothes, shoes and dressers from Emilia/Titus' room
I actually finished this up a couple weekends ago, before J started painting in there, but I just realized tonight that I never updated it...my bad! But, the room was cleared out and painting began (and is now almost done!)
19. Paint Emilia/Titus' room
Yay yay yay! Jason told me tonight all the dots are done except a few yellow and orange that need their 387th coat and a couple touch ups on some brown circles, but we are so close! As soon as he is done, I'll post a couple before/after pics, we think it looks really cool. (O:
63. Organize and clean out the basement
Technically, this has nothing to do with me so far, except that I told Jason all I wanted for Christmas was to have the set of cabinets that has been stacked in a corner of our basement since this summer to finally be put up. He mentioned it to his dad and we're over half way done! I really think ever since we told Mark he's going to be a Grandpa, he has been so helpful with anything I ask...I kinda like it (O: So, J told me he's going to ask his dad to help him finish putting the cabinets up this weekend and then I can start organizing down there! They actually did more than I expected, they even put in a couple new lights and extra outlets, so thoughtful. Don't you worry, I'll post a picture of my new cabinets too- I know you can't wait!
67. Smile when I answer the phone
I have been doing this as often as I can because I think it's a lot of fun. I once read to smile when you answer the phone because the person on the other end can hear it in your voice. I always thought about that- how could it change someone else's attitude to hear me in a good mood, sounding happy to hear from them. Even if I'm having a bad moment, I try to remember to smile, because whoever is calling is most likely not responsible for my bad mood, and therefore should not be punished with grouchy-Annie (nobody likes her anyway).
So that's that.
Have a great night (O:

Let the good times roll!
13. Make my Tee-shirt quilt
Technically, I'm not "working" on it yet, but I did ask for the shirts I still need as Christmas gifts. I have also googled how to make a Tee-shirt quilt. It's pretty simple, but there's more to it than I was thinking. It's in a good way though, now I feel more organized and my quilt is going to be so wonderful! (And large, I have waay too many shirts I want to use!)
19. Paint Emilia/Titus' room
Yay!! Jason spent last weekend painting all the walls green and started on the "circles" on the walls. (I'm not supposed to call them dots, in case it's a boy, because dots is too girlie of a term for a baby boy...haha) I'll edit this post later to put up a picture of the finished wall, I'm so proud of J's idea- it looks so great!
22. Have 1 girls night every other month (1/17)
Ahh, girls nights are so wonderful! Even though the only people that even read my blog were also at this girls night, I will explain the evening anyway! (O: It was at Rick & Chris' new house. We had a pretty good size group, lots of girls that I don't know all that well, so it was great to all get together and spend time getting to know each other a little better. We had lots of yummy snacks and just had girl talk for a long time. (Sorry is we talked about babies too much for you Jill!) We also watched 27 Dresses, which I LOVE! I think it's mostly because I'm obsessed with weddings, so in some ways, I want to BE her- the big file-o-fax and lots of fun wedding stuff. That movie always makes me think about becoming a wedding planner, but that's a hard business to crack into, so probably not. Sorry for that rambling...All in all, girls night was awesome! I can't believe it's been so long since we've had one, it was very much past due!
